Over the last ten years APR have provided key personnel
to work with industry leading clients on high profile projects.
For UBS, APR has been - and is currently - involved
in a series of projects in Zurich, Basle, London, Frankfurt, Paris and Milan. These include:
Providing the framework and majority of screens of Foton, a web workbench for client advisors, financial intermediaries and clients. The workbench is successfully running in most of Europe with 1000+ users.
Providing key project management,
risk management, project support, and development personnel for a
large (300+ people) strategic project to move to a component based
IT architecture.
Specifying and implementing a virtual
desktop window manager to give users enhanced access to windowing
applications.
Additionally, throughout the early
nineties APR managed and developed several applications to support
in-house traders with market making responsibilities in a variety
of trading instruments.
For SWX, the Swiss Stock
Exchange:
APR provided the technical architects of both the central VMS based
Exchange System and the Solaris based Trading System. Additionally,
both the SWX GUI manager and SWX System test manager subsequently
became APR consultants.
Development of SMF, Swiss Market Feed, a real-time feed providing
market information to financial institutions outside of SWX.
For Digital Equipment Corporation
- now Compaq:
Development of an in-memory database for Digital Equipment Corporation
(DEC).
Development of a DECtrade based distribution system.
Development of an RTR based reliable delivery service.
Development of a prototype EBS trading System.
For SOFFEX - now part
of EUREX:
Development of a prototype for a SOFFEX window based options trading
system.
